Actually, I have several FO's this week so it's going to be a bit of a picture heavy post later. My Monkey socks are done, grafted and ready to wear. The Noni bag is also ready for use - I took it along to SnB this week for show and tell. The baby cardi was wrapped and handed over yesterday and I just realised I didn't take a picture of the finished article. Doh! Anyhow, it looked lovely. My little purse is felted and I have already cast on another pair of socks. Not too sure about them but I'll tell you why later. Hmm, well I have to get back to the munchkin and find the camera too. More soon :)

I was climbing on Stanage yesterday and there were little tufts of sheeps wool stuck on the fences & drifting around on the breeze. I thought of picking some up for you but then thought "what the hell is she going to do with a few handfuls of unwashed fluff!"
Btw, why do you call the munchkin DS??
Ooh, fun! I've been thinking of getting one of these....haven't decided what kind yet, though (leaning towards an Ashford Turkish, since I've heard lots of great things). Can't wait to see what you make with yours!!
i've bought a ashford turkish drop spindle and i keep putting it off...i don't know where to start. You must give me some tips :)
Tips, haha. I'm a total beginner!! I did find a couple of video clips on youtube to watch but I'm trying to organise some spinning lessons with DianeM atm.
lol sis, next time pick it up. Haven't got any carders yet but I can see me purchasing some over the summer.
oh and, DS = darling son
